Boulder Field Trail

Boulder Field Trail

This is a popular trail that is about 6.5 miles out and back and takes you to a large boulder field, which is National Natural Landmark and considered one of the main attractions in Hickory Run State Park. While it is possible to drive to the boulder field directly, the hike is recommended and can serve as a good day hike to explore the park.

The trailhead is located on the north side along PA 534, just east of the I-476 overpass. It is directly across the street from the trailhead for the Hawk Falls Trail, another popular trail in Hickory Run State Park.
